

Education is a means through which to better engage God, His world, and all those who share this earth. Beyond Sunday morning worship, Emmanuel church seeks to nurture people with knowledge useful for living life in the full - as Jesus intended. The ministries listed below address different people of particular ages.
Sunday School - This is for children age three to grade 5 and meets during Sunday morning church service. Leaders: Ellen Vander Woude, Judy Heim
GEMS - Girls Everywhere Meeting the Saviour. GEMS is for girls grade 2 to grade 6. Leader: Nancy Cupido
Cadets - Our boys' club meets every second Monday evening from 6:30pm to 8:30pm for boys in grade 2 to grade 7. Some annual events that take place are the Snow Derby, Cub Car Races and camping. Leader: Marcel Nauta
Catechism - This is a church education class for teens in Grade 6 through Grade 12, which meets on Tuesdays, from 7:00pm-8:00pm at the church (upstairs). Leader: Matt Vanden Heuvel
Adult Education - An evening dedicated to engaging God and culture in a way that encourages commitment to a living faith. Explore your questions.
CoffeeBreak/StoryHour – A woman's Christian based study from various sources each Thursday morning from 9:30am to 11:00am with StoryHour and nursery available. Leaders: Joylaine Jonker, Jen Vandenbroek, Erin Folkerts
Youth – This ministry is for students in grades 7 through 12 and gets together twice a month. Leaders: Sam & Audry Van Aken, Ken & Deenie Bouwman, Kaitlin Vanderveen, Dan Nieuwenhuis
